Meade Instruments mySKY Launch

Meade Instruments tasked Westbound  with publicizing the launch of “mySKY,” a handheld multimedia guide to space exploration.  The challenge lay with a media landscape already saturated with positive reviews of a competitor’s product. Westbound implemented a successful media tour for a dozen national outlets that got a sneak peek at mySKY (and its new features, which the competition lacked) followed by aggressive media pitching to dozens of other prominent outlets. Despite product-related delays and challenges, we secured nearly 20 million total impressions for mySKY, including hits with “Good Morning America,” Associated Press, The New York Times, and Popular Science (many with a favorable comparison against the competitor’s product). What’s more, these impressions helped boost mySKY’s sales exponentially.

Sprint "My Cell Style" Website

Sprint, an industry leader for wireless business services, sought the help of Westbound to expand its popularity among younger generations. Westbound strategically developed and launched a comprehensive and interactive website that matched consumers with fun personality profiles that were based on applications utilized on Sprint phones.  Sprint ultimately celebrated an increase in online purchases and became nationally well known during the holiday shopping season because of the website and media outreach efforts from Westbound.
